First Word Asia: All About Chinese Stocks: Leju (LEJU), China Life Insurance Company (LFC), Sky-mobi (MOBI), Momo (MOMO), Mindray Medical International (MR)

Chinese stocks have risen to a one-week high in Hong Kong trading. Investors cited minutes from a Federal Reserve meeting, signaling a gradual pace of any U.S. rate increases. Also, the People’s Bank of China doubled the amount of money supplied to the financial system via a short-term lending tool. That helped contain borrowing costs as a freeze on new share sales draws to an end.

Leju Holdings Ltd (ADR) (NYSE:LEJU) through its subsidiaries, provides online real estate services in the People’s Republic of China. Leju Holdings Ltd shares are trading 26.48% above their 52 week low price after the last close and -59.73% below the 52 week high. Its latest closing price was below -27.13% the average-price of 200 days while it kept its distance from the SMA50 at -9.04% and -16.51% compared with the SMA 20.

 Shares of China Life Insurance Company Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:LFC) were 23.03% off 52 week lows as of the latest close at – 17.95 and -31.72% below the 52 week high. Its latest closing price was down -12.53% from the average-price of 200 days while it maintained a distance from the SMA 50 at -1.85% and -2.92% compared with the SMA 20. China Life Insurance Company Ltd. together with its subsidiaries, operates as a life insurance company in the People’s Republic of China. The company operates through Life Insurance Business, Health Insurance Business, Accident Insurance Business, and Other Business segments.

Sky-mobi Ltd (ADR) (NASDAQ:MOBI)  through its subsidiaries, operates a mobile application platform embedded on mobile phones to provide mobile application store and services in the People’s Republic of China. The stock’s latest price traded at 19.91% off 52 week lows after the closing bell and was -59.85% behind its 52 week high. Its latest closing price was -31.69%below the SMA200 while the distance from the SMA 50 and SMA 20 was -4.76% and -8.70% respectively.

Momo Inc (ADR) (NASDAQ:MOMO) is trading 34.95% higher than the 52 week low price and -35.55% below the 52 week high. The stock’s latest closing price was -3.01% above from the average-price of 200 days while it kept its distance from the SMA50 at 2.01% and -1.79% compared with the SMA 20. New Momo Inc operates a mobile-based social networking platform in the People’s Republic of China. The company enables users to establish and expand social relationships based on location and interests.

Mindray Medical International Ltd (ADR) (NYSE:MR) develops, manufactures, and markets medical devices worldwide. The company operates in three segments: Patient Monitoring and Life Support Products, In-Vitro Diagnostic Products, and Medical Imaging Systems. Mindray Medical International Ltd so far this year has moved up 3.63% and its monthly performance stands at 12.76%.The stock was up 23.67% from its 52 week low and was -19.13% below the 52 week high. Its latest closing price was above 0.13% from the average-price of 200 days while it kept its distance from the SMA50 at 10.42% and 5.63% compared with the SMA 20.
