Nasdaq futures NQU5, +1.33% gained 46.75 points, or 1.1%, to 4,386.25.

European equities SXXP, +1.79% were also rallying after Greece late Thursday submitted a new reform package that, if approved, could unlock much-needed bailout funds.

The new proposal appears to have moved closer to the measures demanded by the country’s creditors, but it could face opposition in Greece.
